# Claude integration

> Install Forecastable from the Claude Community connector directory.

Connect Claude to your Forecastable accounts, contacts, and plans using the **Forecastable Community connector**.

You need a Forecastable account and permission to add connectors in your Claude account or workspace.

## Install from the Community page

    Open [Forecastable in the Claude directory](https://claude.ai/directory/forecastable). You can also search the directory for **Forecastable** and choose the listing marked **Community**.

  <Step title="Add the connector">
    Sign in to Claude if prompted, then add Forecastable from its listing. Open the connector and select **Connect** to start Forecastable sign-in.

  <Step title="Authorize Forecastable">
    Sign in to Forecastable and review the requested access. Select **Allow** to finish authorization, then return to Claude.

  <Step title="Use it in a conversation">
    Enable Forecastable in your conversation’s connector menu. Ask: “Use Forecastable to list my organizations. Ask me which organization to use, then list five accounts from it.”

## Troubleshooting

  <Accordion title="I cannot add the Community connector">
    Ask your Claude workspace administrator whether Community connectors are enabled. If custom
    connectors are allowed, use the [manual Claude setup](/developers/mcp#connect-manually) with
    `https://app.forecastable.com/mcp`.

  <Accordion title="Claude reports missing organization context">
    Single-organization users receive an automatic default. If an organization is missing, the
    error lists accessible names and IDs; retry with `params.organizationId`. With multiple
    organizations, use `setActiveOrganization` to save your choice across reconnects and new chats
    on the same token.

  <Accordion title="Authorization fails or permissions have changed">
    Disconnect and reconnect Forecastable, then approve the requested access again. Your
    Forecastable permissions and approved scopes determine which data Claude can use.

## Disconnect

Open Forecastable in Claude’s connector settings and disconnect it to stop using the connection.
